Become a Peer Leader!

Are you looking for a way to kick-start your time in Utrecht? Are you going to be in Utrecht before 21 August?

During the Welcome Week, everyone will be in a group, led by a mentor (student volunteers who have lived in Utrecht for a while). The Welcome Week is looking for students to support those mentors: Peer Leaders! As a Peer Leader, you will help your mentor lead the group and support your peers. During the week, your main role is to make sure everyone knows where to go and when, while also making sure everyone can find their place in the group.

The position is open to any new international students who would like to guide their group (in partnership with a mentor) during the week and to make sure everyone knows where to go and when, while also making sure everyone is able to find their place in the group. Your role also includes initiating plans and social contact with your group members.

Who are we looking for?

We do not expect you to have any prior leadership experience. Instead, we are looking for easy-going, enthusiastic people who are willing to learn on the go. Of course we will provide you with training and all the necessary information. The Welcome Week team will also help and support you during the week, together with a mentor.
