When you arrive

Hurray, you are about to arrive in Utrecht!  We are excited to welcome you to Utrecht University and our beautiful city.

When you arrive, there will be some great activities to help you feel at home in Utrecht. But first, let's get you here! There are also a few things that you will need to organise.

  UU Welcome Week Meet your fellow international and Dutch students and get acquainted with your faculty and/or programme.

  Getting here & around The Netherlands has a very good public transportation network, which makes it easy to get around. And don't forget our bikes!
• 

  Our campuses Get the know the campuses where you will be studying!
• 

  City registration If you are staying in the Netherlands for more than four months to study, you will need to register in the city of your residence.
• 

  Dutch bank account It is practical to have a Dutch IBAN bank account while studying in the Netherlands.
• 

  Learning Dutch Get to know Utrecht, all while learning Dutch!
