What are Online Pre-Departure Weeks?

The Pre-Departure weeks are a series of webinars and online sessions designed to help students admitted to a bachelor’s, master’s or exchange programme prepare for their arrival in Utrecht! Participation is completely optional, and all important information will also be communicated by e-mail.

Why should you join?

By joining, you can:

  • Hear the experiences of current students
  • Get practical information about different topics such as:
    • Housing
    • Student Life
    • Paying tuition fees
    • Visa and residence permit guidance (if applicable)
  • Ask any questions you might have

When and how?

  • Sessions are spread over a few weeks before the start of your programme (usually in August/September). Each session lasts approximately 1 hour.
  • You will receive an email with a registration link in the weeks after you have been admitted.
  • After registering, you will receive updates about:
    • Upcoming sessions you can sign up for;
    • Sessions that have already taken place (recordings may be available to watch later).
