Fulfilling your conditions for admission
Admissions decision
If your bachelor’s or master’s application is successful, you will receive an official letter confirming the decision from International Student Admissions (BA) or the relevant Graduate School (MA) respectively. Make sure that you read this letter, the accompanying e-mail and any other attachments carefully.
If your offer is unconditional
- If you are admitted to a limited enrolment or selective programme, you have met all the entry requirements for your chosen programme. You will be able to officially enrol if you are selected by the programme.
- If you are admitted to an open enrolment programme, you have met all entry requirements for your chosen programme and you can officially enrol in the programme.
If your offer is conditional
- This means you have not yet met all entry requirements for your chosen programme. These requirements and the deadline to fulfil them are stated in your letter of conditional acceptance.
The letter of conditional acceptance may contain one or more of the following conditions:
- I have to send proof of my diploma and transcript
- I have to send proof of my English proficiency
- I have to complete a course, pass a test or take part in further study
Accepting your offer
When you receive a letter of admission, you will also be asked to accept the offer of (conditional) admission. By accepting the offer, you can reserve your place in the bachelor’s or master's programme. You can accept the offer even if you have not yet fulfilled the conditions of admission.
If you are applying for an open enrolment programme, we recommend that you accept the offer as soon as possible to make sure that you receive all relevant communication from us to guide you through the enrolment process.
If you are applying to a limited enrolment or selective programme, you have two weeks to accept your place after being selected for your programme. If you do not accept the offer within this time, you will not be able to enrol.
