Congratulations! By now you have received (or hopefully you are close) to receiving a letter of admission from Utrecht University. Going to a new country, a new university, a new culture is quite daunting, but we we aim to help you have the best possible experience.
Several things require your attention when preparing for your stay in Utrecht. You can use this checklist to help you on your way.

1. Fulfil your conditions for admission
Read your admission letter carefully and make sure you meet any conditions stated before the deadline.
2. Arrange housing
Start looking for housing as soon as possible. Finding accommodation in Utrecht is not easy and often underestimated.
3. Apply for a study residence permit (if applicable)
Check if you require an entry visa and/or residence permit for your study period in The Netherlands
4. Pay your tuition fees
How to pay your tuition fee depends on your nationality
5. Get insurance
Get adequate insurance for your stay in Utrecht
