19 June 2024 - LAP24

On 19 June 2024 team LA co-organized a panel discussion for the learning analytics in practice (LAP) event about inter-institutional collaboration in LA.

18 June 2024 - National Learning Analytics meeting

The project group 'Best and worst practices LA' of the Npuls pilothub 'Study data and AI' organized a meeting about the implementation of LA in secondary vocational education and tertiary higher education. This meeting was held at the science park of the UU. The poster that team LA presented can be viewed here.

18 - 22 March 2024 - LAK24

From 18 – 22 March Anouschka and Marije participated in the Learning Analytics and Knowledge conference (LAK24) in Kyoto Japan.

• The paper team LA wrote, and that Anouschka presented during the conference, won the ‘Best Practioner Paper Award’! The paper can be found in the LAK24 Companion proceedings (to be downloaded from the SoLAR website) on page 9.
• Anouschka also presented in the workshop 'Actionable learning analytics'.
• Marije contributed to the workshop 'Learning Analytics Adoption in Higher Education: A European Perspective'

7 March 2024 - Workshop AI in education at the TU/e

In this workshop Marije gave a presentation about how we use a top-down-bottom-up approach to Implement AI in Education. The abstract that team LA wrote for this workshop can be found in the book of abstract on page 12 (to be downloaded from the workshop website). 7 February 2024 - Workshop on Challenges and opportunities of learning analytics in higher education

This workshop was organized by the TU/e in preparation of the workshop at LAK24.  More information can be found on the website of 4TU. The presentation that was given during this workshop by team LA is similar to the LAK24 presentation.

12 - 13 November 2023 - Surf education days

During the Surf education days both Anouschka en Marije presented. Anouschka demonstrated the LA roadmap and Marije talked about the study advisor project and what it takes to implement a study delay prediction dashboard at a higher education institution. 1 - 2 November 2023 - DAIR

On 1 November 2023 we presented our LA roadmap on the annual DAIR (Dutch Association for Institutional research) conference. The presentation slides can be found here.
