ONLINE COURSE ‘ESSENTIALS OF CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCE’

The Brain Center Rudolf Magnus invites you to participate in the online course ‘Essentials of Clinical Neuroscience’. This course for advanced bachelor/beginning master students with an interest in clinical neuroscience is offered completely online. The course gives you a unique opportunity to learn the state of the art insights in neurosciences, discover the research strengths of UMC Utrecht and experience our educational philosophy. Wherever you are, whenever you are available you can join our academic community of eager, young minds from behind your computer!
The course consists of web lectures by top UMC Utrecht neuroscientists as well as articles, group assignments, individual assignments, peer feedback and feedback from teachers. During the course you interact with other participants through assignments and discussions. The course is moderated actively by a professional moderator and teaching staff of the Brain Center Rudolf Magnus of UMC Utrecht.
Upon completion of the course you will obtain 3 EC (UU students) or a certificate of completion with a study load indication of 3 EC.
To enroll in this course, you need:
- To be a master student with an interest in neuroscience or a bachelor student in the last year of your programme, preferably with a medical education, or an education in life sciences, biology, psychology, cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence or psychology
- Sufficient proficiency in English reading and writing
Please note: As the Essentials of Clinical Neuroscience is an online course, you do need to have access to an internet connection in order to be able to follow lectures, complete assignments and communicate with fellow participants.
Registration and payment:
- Are you a Utrecht University master student or a master student at another Dutch University you can register via the Study guide of the Graduate School of Life Sciences. You don’t have to pay a course fee.
- Are you interested in taking this course and not (yet) a master student at a Dutch University you can register and pay (course fee 400 euros) via this link.
