Masters

All the information you need to become or to be a Master's student of the Graduate School of Geosciences.

The Master’s programmes aim to: 

  • equip you with specialist and interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and understanding in the field of Geosciences, and help you achieve your learning outcomes.
  • prepare you for a career in one or more sub-fields of Geosciences.
  • prepare you to undertake a research training programme in the field of Geosciences. 

The study guide of the Master’s programmes set out the subject-specific learning outcomes for the different programmes. These can be found on the programme websites for current Master's students (see Practical Information > Academic policies and procedures). All rules and regulations for Master’s programmes are laid down in the ´Education and Examination Regulations´, which you can also find there.
