Van Lier & Eggink room

The Van Lier & Egginkzaal is a popular and highly regarded Active Learning Space. Lecturers who use this space return every year and encourage colleagues to use as well. 

Positive features:
Wide layout: contributes to the feeling of a spacious and flexible teaching space, where the distance between lecturer and student and between students is short. The space therefore encourages mutual interaction and collaboration.
Flexibility: Of all the possible layouts, the alternation between plenary and group work (switching between lectures and seminars) is the most commonly used. The direct succession of these teaching methods provides a deeper learning experience for students. 

The experience of teachers and students with this large, multifunctional active learning space is predominantly good. Teachers indicate that in order to make optimal use of the space, it is necessary to think about the teaching design in advance and adjust it if necessary.
