How to apply?
You can study at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences as an exchange student if there is an agreement between our institutions and if you have been nominated by your home university. Please check with your International Office how you can be nominated.
If your university does not have an exchange agreement with our university it is not possible to do your exchange at our faculty.
Utrecht University also offers the possibility to follow an undergraduate degree, graduate degree or Phd programme.
How to apply?
As soon as we receive the nomination from your university, we will send you the link to our online application system. We ask you to register and upload several documents.
Language requirements
We recommend that you have completed at least 1½ years of full-time study at your home university. At Utrecht University we expect our exchange students to be proficient in English language. Read more about test scores that indicate the level of English that is required.
Deadlines
The Faculty of Social Sciences can only accept exchange students who apply before the deadline:
Deadline for students starting in September (Fall semester): 1 May
Deadline for students starting in February (Spring semester): 1 October
Students who visit Utrecht through exchange programmes from other faculties or through the University wide International Office should get in touch with the contact person of the corresponding faculty or University wide International Office. They will then send you all the necessary forms.
