Courses and programmes
In a course or programme, together with a group of teachers, you work on certain topics in a number of supervised meetings, with the aim of developing your teaching and/or you qualities as a teacher.

The intensive Educational Leadership programme is unique and meant for academics that operate on the management level of academic teaching.
During the Peer Observation Programme, you observe each other while teaching. You will have the opportunity to observe a fellow teacher and be observed teaching yourself, after which you will receive feedback.
The Senior Fellow Programme aims to strengthen educational leadership within the university and to increase the number of professors with a special focus on education. Senior Fellows will play a key role in improvements of the education at the Utrecht University and are an inspiration to their colleagues.
Start to Teach is a programme for Utrecht University employees who are starting their career in education. You can follow this track during the block of your first teaching assignment to develop yourself as a teacher.
UMC Utrecht and Utrecht University will jointly offer the Teaching Scholars Programme (TSP) for experienced teachers who want to develop in research and knowledge sharing in teaching, referred to as educational scholarship.
Collaborative Online International Learning Programme
During this programme, each participant will create or redesign (a part of) a course, module or project so that it is suited for collaborative online international learning (COIL).
Community Engaged Learning Programme
Community Engaged Learning (CEL) is experiential education in which students, lecturers and social partners work together on social issues. The CEL course supports teachers in delivering and developing CEL education.
Advanced Community Engaged Learning Programme
This Advanced teaching course offers experienced CEL teachers the opportunity to jointly explore a CEL-specific theme in more depth.
Honours Teaching Programme
This programme aims for developing teachers in honours education. Participants in this programme can learn with and from each other by sharing knowledge and deepen in honours teaching.
Interdisciplinary Teaching Programme
The Interdisciplinary Teaching Programme enables teachers to make choices appropriate to the learning objectives and subject matter of interdisciplinary education, within their specific context, and makes them acutely aware of the complexity of interdiciplinary education.
Course Didactics for Continuing Education
This course supports lecturers among other things in the (further) development of Continuing Education. The characteristics, expectations, and (learning) needs of the professionals and the great diversity within the target group mean that this type of education requires a different approach than education for initial students.
