Studying in 2040

What will it be like for students to study in 2040? What technologies will shape education? How will the learning environment look like in 2040? In this workshop, we’ll explore the future of learning. We’ll use AI to generate a profile of a future student. Together with this ‘AI-student’, we’ll look ahead to 2040 and reflect on what this future can teach us about education today.

This workshop focuses on exchange, interaction, and inspiring each other – with the help of AI. We’ll also reflect on the use of AI in education, including through prompting (the BRAVER framework) and creating a persona.

Note: To participate in this workshop, you will be asked to use an AI tool of your choice.

After the workshop, you will be able to:

• write effective prompts using the BRAVER framework
• create a persona using AI (for example, an AI-generated student). This can also be applied by students and educators, offering endless possibilities;
• know how to use AI effectively for brainstorming;
• engage in conversations about AI in education with both colleagues and students.
