SIG Interdisciplinarity

Complex real-world problems require the integration of insights from different disciplines. University education, however, is often divided into disciplines. This raises many questions and challenges. What makes interdisciplinary education interdisciplinary? How should we design and assess interdisciplinary courses? Which skills do students and teachers need to facilitate interdisciplinary teaching and learning? How can we translate interdisciplinary research into interdisciplinary education? Questions of this kind will be called into question.
