GenAI support offer

The Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT) offers various support opportunities on dealing with and implementing generative AI in education. 

The CAT supports you in gaining insight into the possibilities and offer practical tools for your own use and for guiding students in the responsible use of generative AI.

E-module AI Literacy for teachers

Thanks to the UvA, we can offer their module until UU has developed its own. Follow the course to educate yourself, become AI literate, and learn about what GenAI is, what it has to offer, and what to look out for when using the technology. You can start and stop the course at any time and resume it at a later date. The course is also interesting for all other UU staff members (chapters 1-4). This e-module will be replaced by a UU module at a later stage.

Workshops or Advice on Request

Examples of support are:

  • joining you teachers meeting to provide a session on GenAI
  • providing a workshop or training course;
    • The Workshop 'Starting with Gen AI in your Education'
    • The Workshop 'Communicating with Students'
    • A custom made Workshop
  • individual advice;
  • guiding and moderating a discussion.

If you want to give a workshop yourself we can help with that as well and provide some of our materials and presentations.
