AI workshops for teachers
Within Utrecht University, various workshops are offered on dealing with and implementing generative AI in education.
The available workshops are listed below. These can be arranged for your teaching team on request. It is, of course, possible to tailor a workshop to the group’s requirements. To request a workshop, please contact generatieve-ai@uu.nl, and we will discuss the options with you.
AI workshop series
The Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT) and Educational Development & Training (O&T) offers a three-part series of workshops focusing on AI in education for teacher teams. They can also be requested separately. The three workshops are:
- Getting started with GenAI
- GenAI: How and what do you communicate with students about
- Make your assessment GenAI resilient
Studying in 2040
What will it be like for students to study in 2040? What technologies will shape education? How will the learning environment look like in 2040? In this workshop, we’ll explore the future of learning. We’ll use AI to generate a profile of a future student. Together with this ‘AI-student’, we’ll look ahead to 2040 and reflect on what this future can teach us about education today.
Assessment programme scan
Directors of Education are responsible for the quality of assessment in their programmes and therefore play a crucial role in analysing vulnerabilities introduced by GenAI technologies. The assessment programme scan is a tool for Directors of Education to gain insight into the validity of the assessment program now that genAI is widely accessible.
