How to engage customers and utilize their flexibility?

In light of the ongoing technological and digital transformation of distribution networks, this workshop will provide the opportunity to explore the subject of consumers participation in energy markets, and constitutes an environment where academics, network companies and policy makers/advisors can compare and discuss innovative solutions for enabling such participation via network regulation and tariff setting.

To facilitate dialogue, the first session will provide different perspectives on how network regulation should evolve to enable technological change, while ensuring cost efficiency but also fairness among customers. During the second session, alternative proposals will be discusses to encourage customers to efficiently utilize their resources and provide flexibility services.
