Workshop botanical watercolour painting

Repeated due to success: Botanical Watercolor Workshop led by botanical artist Marloes Vreeburg. During this workshop, you and up to 9 other participants will get hands-on experience. You’ll go through the entire process: from selecting your plant to sketching and watercolor painting. Of course, you’ll receive tips and guidance along the way. The cost for this workshop is €30 per person.

Sunday, November 1, 2026 
Guided Tours of the Botanic Gardens
This Sunday, November 1, Friends of the Botanic Gardens can join one of three guided tours through the Gardens. Three of our regular guides will take you past remarkable plants and garden sections, sharing fascinating insights you likely didn’t know before. The tours start at 11:00 AM, and we’ll walk in three groups of up to 15 people each. Advance registration is required—please send an email to vrienden.botanischetuinen@uu.nl. Please note the tours will be in Dutch.
