Group visit & Guided tours
Utrecht University Botanic Gardens are building new greenhouses! Our Tropical greenhouses will be completely replaced. The greenhouses are therefore closed to visitors for an extended period. Read more.
When visiting Utrecht University Botanical Gardens with a group of 15 persons or more, and when booking a guided tour, you get € 1.50 reduction* on the entrance fee. Register your group visit to receive the reduction. In addition, you may book a guided tour through one or two specific parts of the Gardens.
Group visit
Members of a registered group visit receive a price reduction* of € 1.50 to the entrance fee. This also applies to paying visitors with the age of 4 until 17. Please, do register your group visit in advance, so we can prepare your entrance.
Groups of USP partners/campus card holders can enter for free through the gates with their activated employee card via the entrance of their own choice: the main entrance, the Evolution garden entrance, at the Insect meadow and/or the Leuvenlaan entrance.
Guided tours
A guided tour is the best way to get to know Utrecht University Botanic Gardens. Specially trained guides will take you to places that are most interesting at the time of your visit. You will get to see the best and most beautiful flowering plants and hear the accompanying stories. You will also learn more about the work of the Botanic Gardens. One tour guide leads a group of 15 persons maximum. All participants get a reduction of €1.50* to the regular entrance fee.
*The € 1.50 reduction to the regular entrance fee only applies when buying a ticket, and does not apply in combination with other reductions or a Museumkaart.
