Selection
The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) is a programme with limited enrolment. Each year 60 students are admitted. A limited number makes small-scale education and the selection for motivated students possible. To be admitted to the programme, you will have to participate in the selection procedure.
Selection procedure
If you are motivated for the content and the educational approach of CPS, we welcome you to apply. The selection procedure consists of several steps that you will have to follow. In the table, you will find a description of the selection procedure and crucial deadlines that cannot be missed:

On your selection day, you will write an essay on a CPS-related subject (from home if you live outside the Netherlands). To prepare for the writing of this essay, you will be asked to carefully read one of the three articles from a popular science magazine that are included in the invitation. At the designated time on the selection day, you will receive an assignment per email with a few questions that will guide the contents of the essay. Upon receipt of this assignment you will have to return your essay within three hours.
Both the background questionnaire (including your grades and the recommendation form) and the essay will receive a score on a 1 to 5 scale. Candidates with a score of 3.0 (or higher) for the background questionnaire (inquiring motivation, interest and personal background) and recommendation form and a score for 3.0 (or higher) for the written essay can be selected.
