Do you like to challenge yourself? If so, then University College Utrecht might be the place for you. It is a Honours programme: students enroll through a selection procedure.
As a student, you are expected to work hard, up to 54 hours per week (including class). Classes are small, and your participation in class discussions is not only encouraged, but also graded. Outside class you will spend a lot of time writing papers, preparing presentations, working in groups, and reading books and other course materials.
There are many ways in which students can enhance their curriculum. You can shape your curriculum with unique programmes, special courses, and internships. You can read more about special curricular options on the University College Utrecht website.
At University College Utrecht, we look for students who are ambitious, who want to make a difference and contribute to society. As part of the Liberal Arts and Sciences philosophy, active community involvement is highly valued. There is something for every interest: more than 40 clubs and committees, ranging from sports and dance to journalism and Model United Nations, are active on the campus. Joining a committee is a good way to spend time outside class and to get to know other students.
