Bachelor’s Open Day

Would you like to experience the atmosphere at Utrecht University and find out if we offer a Bachelor’s programme that is the right for you? If so, then come visit our Bachelor’s Open Day!

The next Bachelor’s Open Days will take place on Saturday 7 March 2020 (09:00 - 16:00 h*):

*The programme for international visitors is from 16:00 to 18:30h.

Is this something for me?

Are you almost done with your university preparatory education? Have you earned a university preparatory diploma, and returning from a gap year? Are you currently enrolled at a university of applied sciences, and considering transferring to the university? Then you shouldn’t miss the Bachelor’s Open Day!

Our Bachelor’s students Emilio and Nikki would be happy to tell you all about it:

What can I expect from the event?

  • Information sessions about almost every Bachelor’s degree programme (registration required, view timetable in Dutch): general and/or in-depth sessions. The in-depth sessions include thematic presentations or mini-lectures. Due to the limited number of seats available, we ask that you bring no more than one parent/guest with you to the information sessions, so that we can accommodate as many prospective students as possible.
  • Information markets and many extra activities (view flyer): where you can learn everything you need to know about student finances, your study programme, and student life in Utrecht.
  • A special programme for international visitors: find out everything you need to know about studying and living in Utrecht: from housing to financing your studies. Get to know our beautiful city during a city tour and experience ‘gezelligheid’ with other international students in an informal café in the City Centre.

How do I get to the Bachelor's Open Day?

The Bachelor’s Open Days take place at several locations throughout Utrecht: in the City Centre, at the International Campus, and at Utrecht Science Park. Remember to take the travel time between locations in consideration.
