Application fee

Applicants must pay an application fee of 100 euro, otherwise the application will not be considered. The application fee is non-refundable.

The application fee is not required of:

  • Exchange students currently registered at Utrecht University
  • Students with a refugee status in the Netherlands
  • Students applying for admission based on an International Baccalaureate or European Baccalaureate diploma
  • Students applying for admission based on a diploma originating from an EU/EEA country, a VWO diploma from Aruba or Surinam, or a Maturitätszeugnis from Switzerland

Students who wish to apply for more than one programme, only need to pay the application fee once.

The fee can be paid by VISA or MasterCard (debit or credit card) or by bank transfer into the ABN AMRO bank account of Utrecht University. Do not send cash.

Online payment by VISA or MasterCard

We can only accept payments by VISA or MasterCard (debit or credit card). To make a payment you will have to indicate your student number and the following details of the card you wish to pay with: card number, expiration date, CVC code (this is the verification code on the back of the card) and name of the cardholder.

In case you submitted an enrolment request for a Bachelor's programme trough Studielink after Wednesday 13 March your payment of the application fee is integratred in Osris Online Application. You do not have to use the instructions below.
