We are excited to announce the first meeting for the SIG Challenge Based Learning. We would like to have at least 4 meetings per academic year, and since this is the kick-off, we would like to open up the floor to the community of people in the university that are interested/involved in Challenge Based Learning and let you share your experiences and current needs for support.
The agenda is the following:
- 11:30-11:40: Introduction of the SIG and the goal
- 11.40- 12:00: Short introduction of the participants and their involvement with Challenge Based Learning (if there is). The goal is to build up a community, where we identify commonalities and links to each other’s work and potentially build collaborations,or provide support in each ones initiatives. You are welcome to pitch your CBL course in 2mins. If so please inform me prior the session (until the 17th of November) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, so I can make a planning.
- 12:00-12:15: Brainstorm, using a creative technique, to identify where our knowledge gaps are, the lack of support and where our needs lie. The goal is to identify what you need in order to develop and run this type of education and in what way we can best support you. Through this brainstorm we can also define the topics for the future SIG meetings.
- 12:15-12:30: Discuss the results of the brainstorm and set the most interesting themes for future sessions
In case you are not able to attend this session, you are welcome to save the date for the next session February 9th @11.30-12.30. Hope to see you December 8th!
