Pathways Lunch Café: Innovation in Sustainability Education

Join us at the upcoming Pathways Café on 14 September! The Pathways Café will provide anyone who is interested in Pathways to Sustainability an easy way to get to know, inform and inspire each other. You don't need to be actively involved (yet).

Innovation in Sustainability Education

On September 14th, the Pathways Café will transform into the Pathways Lunch Café. Several colleagues from different faculties will share insights into new educational initiatives centered around sustainability:

• Jeroen Oomen, assistant professor at the Urban Futures Studio, will discuss the process of setting up the brand-new Sustainable Futures minor. 
• Tim Immerzeel, education development officer at the Department of Sociology will share updates on the progress in setting up an interuniversity minor Climate Sociology. 
• Flora Roberts, assistant professor at the Department of History and Art History, will talk about the Humanities’ perspective on sustainability issues in the context of her new course, titled Emergency! An environmental history of (un-) natural disasters.

Following the presentations, a lunch will be served, providing an opportunity for in-depth discussions regarding the future of sustainability education at Utrecht University.
