On Tuesday October 27th, Life Sciences and Utrecht Science Park will organise a matchmaking event to link life sciences research and innovation with research facilities and services.
What to expect at this event?
A complete overview of the research infrastructure and services at Utrecht Science Park;
New perspectives and solutions from various areas of knowledge and expertise, which can potentially accelerate innovative research;
A digital marketplace with the latest technological developments.
The most important goal of the day: strengthening your network and enabling multidisciplinary collaboration.
The event has a target audience of researchers and external partners from our network, UU/UMCU, HU, the Princess Maximá Centre, Utrecht facility managers, PIs, postdocs, PhD students, technicians and other relevant and interested companies.
Digital information market: 19 to 27 October
In the week leading up to the matchmaking event, you are invited to browse the various research facilities at our online information market. On this online platform you can get to know each research facility by means of a video presentation. If you would like to meet with the facility manager, you can schedule a personal video meeting at the facility event on October 27th
Plenary programme October 27th
13.00 Welcome word by host Esther Pronker (Business Developer Life Sciences)
13.05 Keynote: Peter Luijten (vice dean Life Sciences)
13.20 Interactive pitch competition between various research facility managers
13.45 Interview with Judith Klumperman (head of Cell Microsopy Core UMCU facility) and Marijn van Huis (head of the EM Square facility)
14.00 Start Networking Sessions and 1-1 meetings between facility managers and potential collaborators.
