The language of Srinivasan’ inaugural lecture is English, so this article can further be read in English.

To manage deltas, we must be able to look into the future and anticipate change.

Sustainable and inclusive

On the one hand, she is researching how we can better anticipate water and food futures in the light of changing climate conditions, migration, and urbanisation. On the other, she is keen to apply the research findings in order to improve land and water management, so that the transition is both sustainable and inclusive.

Close collaboration

Srinivasan will work in close collaboration with the research hubs Future Food and Water, Climate & Future Deltas of Pathways to Sustainability, together with International Development Studies at Utrecht University.
