International collaboration 

By definition, science and scientists operate within an international arena. Students will be active in an international job market. The strengthening of international collaboration, therefore, is an essential element of Utrecht University’s strategy.

Particular focus is given to increased cooperation with China and India and to the participation in university networks such as the League of European Research Universities (LERU).
