University Administration
The University Administration provides two main functions: to take care of various management tasks on behalf of the Executive Board of Utrecht University and to occupy a supporting role to the Executive Board as well to the various university departments.

The Secretary General is in charge of, and monitors, the overall cohesion of services. He also advises the Executive Board on general affairs and regularly consults with the directors of faculties, service departments and corporate offices about policy and implementation.
