18 June 2011: Open Day 100 years of medicine for companion animals, Yalelaan 108
A two-fold celebration: the University is 375 years old and September marks the centennial anniversary of the Chair of Medicine of Companion Animals at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The establishment of the Chair 100 years ago sparked the development of the field of veterinary medicine. The Department’s showpiece is the University Clinic for Companion Animals, a world-class animal hospital that has played a lead role in this development.
18 June, the clinic will throw open its doors to show guests its state-of-the-art facilities, including surgery rooms, a radiotherapy centre and research building. Everyone, from inside and outside the University, children and adults, is welcome to come and celebrate with us!
