China Scholarship Council – Universiteit Utrecht (CSC-UU) PhD-programme
The China Scholarship Council – Utrecht University PhD Scholarship Programme yearly offers PhD candidates from China the opportunity to start a PhD programme at Utrecht University on a 4 year scholarschip. Selection for this programme is undertaken by Utrecht University and by the China Scholarship Council, respectively. CSC deadline: 20 March and 31 May 2012.

Visit to India in September 2010
A Utrecht delegation with representatives of the Utrecht Province, Utrecht University, Utrecht University Medical Centre, Utrecht Centre for Earth and Sustainability, Utrecht Science Park, Utrecht University of Applied Science and Chambers of Commerce have visited India in September 2010.

On September 14 the delegation was welcomed by Shri Jairam Ramesh, Minister of Environment and Forests, Government of India. During the meeting Minister Ramesh expressed his support for the Utrecht plans to intensify cooperation between India and The Netherlands in the area of sustainability and in particular the Indo-Dutch Virtual Water Research Centre.
