Collection of Languages

The collection of languages (UBTLN) is a broad collection containing reference works and retrospective works for the languages which are taught at Utrecht University.

The books are located on the ground floor of the University Library Uithof (see the digital map of the library).

The collection is divided into:

  • Modern languages (UBTLN): Language and Literature General, Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese
  • Classical languages (UBTLN: KLASS-T…)

Collection of the Dutch Foundation Skepsis

Skepsis placed its book collection on deposit in the University Library. This organization looks critically at extraordinary statements.

The collection (SKEPS) consists of approximately 1,000 books on various subjects, written from a skeptical approach or from a paranormal or pseudoscientific conviction.
