Utrecht University Library offers Open Access services: Igitur Publishing and the Igitur Archive.

Igitur Archive

Igitur Archive is the digital repository of the university in which scientists may deposit their research results. The library is responsible for cataloguing, dissemination and sustainable storage and offers customized services such as readers statistics.

Igitur Publishing

This service supports scientists, also outside Utrecht University.in setting up and publishing Open Access journals, and advises them on Open Access publishing. Igitur Publishing is a non-profit institution

There are many activities involved in the set-up of a new e-journal. For example:

• the development and design of the website;
• determining and formulating the editorial process;
• web marketing (the visibility of publications on the internet);

Starting a new journal requires the making of customized agreements. We invite you to contact Igitur Publishing for your ideas, plans and questions.
