Theatre, Film and Television studies
What is in the collection?
The collection holds literature in the field of theatre (drama, dance, etc.), film, and to a lesser extent television drama.
You will find books on theoretical subjects such as esthetics and drama interpretation, about the technical aspects of theatre, drama and dance, and about the history of theatre, film and television. There are also books about actors, directors and theatre leaders.
Film and television drama are well represented in the collection. There is a limited number of books about individual producers, directors or actors.
Because of the interdisciplinary nature of Theatre studies, many other collections in the library may be of interest, such as the literature sections of the various languages (for drama texts), Musicology and Communication and information sciences.
