The University Library City Centre is open again

Books at their new location
All the Law, Economics and Governance collections and the collections of Philosophy, Ethics and the History of Universities have been moved and are ready their new locations.

More study spaces
In the new wing of the University Library City Centre, the number of study spaces has almost doubled. There are now over 650 study spaces, with and without computers. There are study areas for groups, conference rooms and silent areas.

Bar & Restaurant
Restaurant Lodewijk is open for business. Enjoy lunch in the regal settings of the former palace of Louis Napoleon.

·          Bar
Why not treat yourself to a freshly made cappuccino before visiting the Library? The baristas of Bar Lodewijk enjoy serving great coffee. Open during the summer from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

·          Restaurant
Delicious smoothies, sandwiches, soups and other refreshments are available in the self service restaurant. Open in summer from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy it here.

Our wireless network, Eduroam is available throughout the restaurant.

Underground Bicycle Shed
The bicycle shed,under the court yard at the Wittevrouwenstraat, is ready for use. From the bicycle shed, you can acccess the library directly without leaving the building.
Bicycles may only be parked in the underground bicycle shed. Parking elsewhere is not allowed.
