Travelling by public transport
From Utrecht Central Station to De Uithof
If you travel to Utrecht by public transport, you will arrive at Utrecht Central Station. In the station hall, follow the signs stadsbussen. Go down the stairs and you will get to the bus station. Bus number 12 and 12s travels to De Uithof and runs every 3-5 minutes. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes and the fare is based on three zones. For all information sessions and Centrum Studiekeuze at De Uithof get off at ‘Heidelberglaan’.
From Utrecht Central Station to Bijlhouwerstraat 6
To get to Bijlhouwerstraat, you take a number 2 bus (circle-line bus towards Museumkwartier) and get off at Ledig Erf/Tolsteegbrug. When you get off, you will see Ledig Erf bar on your left. You walk past the bar and opposite the post office is the entrance to the USBO building at Bijlhouwerstraat 6. The bus runs every 15 minutes and the journey time is about 10 minutes. Bus number 12 does not stop at this location!
From Utrecht Central Station to Janskerkhof and Drift
To get to the venues at Drift and Janskerkhof, you take a number 11 bus. The bus runs every five minutes and the journey time is about five minutes. You get off at Janskerkhof.

Getting to De Uithof by car
From Amsterdam to De Uithof:
A2: exit at Utrecht Noord
N230: follow until A27
A27: junction Rijnsweerd; head towards De Uithof
A28: first exit for De Uithof*
From Den Haag/Rotterdam or Arnhem to De Uithof:
A12: junction Lunetten; head towards Amersfoort
A27: junction Rijnsweerd; head towards De Uithof
A28: first exit for De Uithof*
From Hilversum or Breda to De Uithof:
A27: junction Rijnsweerd; head towards De Uithof
A28: first exit for De Uithof*
From Amersfoort to De Uithof:
A28: exit at De Uithof (after exit Zeist/Den Dolder)
From Den Bosch and Eindhoven to De Uithof:
A2: junction Oudenrijn; head towards Amersfoort
A27: junction Lunetten; head towards Amersfoort
A28: first exit for De Uithof*

Parking in De Uithof
For Van Unnikgebouw, Educatorium, Ruppertgebouw, Hijmans v/d Berg and Centrum Studiekeuze it is advisable to park your car in the University Library car park. Take the following route: Universiteitsweg, at the end go to the right; Cambridgelaan, at your right University Library car park.
De Uithof has mostly paid parking. The first 33 minutes of parking are free. After that, you pay half a euro for each 33-minute period. The maximum parking fee is 7 euro per day. You can pay by cash or with your chip card.
Getting to the city centre by car
Because parking is limited in the inner-city area of Utrecht, we advise you not to come by car if you will be attending sessions in the city centre. However, if you do choose to travel by car, you would be best advised to park your car in the Springhaver multi-storey car park at Springweg.
