Entrance Requirements
Both Dutch and international veterinary graduates are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold a DVM or 5-year BVSc, or BVM degree from a university in Europe or elsewhere and have achieved average marks that are good to excellent (A or B). Courses in statistics and epidemiology must have been part of the professional education and have been completed with a minimum of a ‘good’ (B) mark.
The Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics programme is geared toward veterinarians (DVM, BVM or BVSc) who have been working at least one year in a research institute, veterinary (private) clinic or project and have proven adequate basic knowledge of statistics and epidemiology.
Applicants should:
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation and commitment;
- Have sufficient funds at their disposal to finance their studies;
- Provide two references / letters of recommendation (including one from their current employer).
