Career Opportunities
The quality of our environment is an important topic. That is why the world needs people with comprehensive knowledge of environmental issues. As a Utrecht Sustainable Development graduate, you will have an excellent basis for a further career: you will be eligible for a subsequent PhD programme or an academic-level position at research institutes, in government, in business or at NGOs all over the world.
For example, you could become:
- A consultant at companies specialised in environment and energy issues such as DHV or Ecofys;
- A scientist at research institutes like RIVM or ECN;
- A policy advisor occupied with strategic environmental policy at a government ministry;
- A programme coordinator for an international NGO.
