Utrecht University Teacher Awards
The University Executive Board annually awards two prestigious teacher awards: the Outstanding Teacher Award and the Teacher Talent Award. Student associations nominate teachers by compiling portfolios for their nominees. A judging committee consisting of Utrecht University teachers and students will select the winners. Winners 2012-2013
For the Outstanding Teacher Award the nominees were:
- Prof. Ronald Bleys (Medicine nominated by SAMS) - winner
- Prof. Andries Meijerink (Chemistry, nominated by Proton)
For the Teacher Talent Award the nominees were:
Award winner announcement and awards ceremony
The winners were announced by the Executive Board on Teaching Parade Day, on 27 February 2013. The official awards ceremony will take place on the University’s birthday, 26 March 2013.
