Sjoerd Sjoerdsma ’02 running for parliament

Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, UCU class of ’02, has announced his candidacy for a seat in the Dutch House of Representatives.

Sjoerd is number 11 on the candidate list of social-liberal party D66. He may become the first UCU graduate to serve in parliament, if the elections in September turn out favorably for his party – D66 is currently polling at 17 seats. You can follow his campaign on Twitter @swsjoerdsma.
