Prof. dr. Maria Peeters

Maria Peeters (1966) studied Health Sciences at the University of Maastricht. In 1994 she got here PhD at the Radboud University Nijmegen on a (diary) study at the influence of social support on job stress. Currently she works as associate professor at Utrecht University (department Sociale, Health and Organizational Psychology). Since 2017 she is appointed as part-time full Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology. 
 
Her research focuses on the sustainable performance of  employees in a work context that is more and more characterized by (technological) changes and innovations, with a specific interest in the management of diversity issues in this respect.  Key areas of expertise include worker (ill)health, motivation and well-being, work engagement, intervention research (i.e. job crafting), work-family balance, sustainable employability and (implementation) of technological innovations.
