Ingeborg Löwisch holds a Master of Arts (2006, cum laude) in religious studies (research MA programme), direction biblical studies of the University of Amsterdam, and a First Theological Diploma of the Protestant Church in Baden and University of Heidelberg (1995). She is currently working on her PhD project on Memory Performance through Gendered Genealogy Composition in Biblical Literature and Contemporary Documentary Film (promotor Prof. Bob Becking, co-supervision Prof. Athalya Brenner and Dr. Julia Noordegraaf).
