Welcome to the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology

The Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology is one of the eight departments of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The faculty has a leading position in Europe and is one of the top 5 veterinary institutes worldwide.

The department employs several groups of workers among which academic staff, PhD students and research technicians. The department is wellknown for its expertise in the field of clinical veterinary infection science, immunology, infection biology, virology, molecular host defence and tick borne diseases.
