Organisation

The management team of the department consists of Mrs. prof.dr. Frauke Ohl  (chair) and of Mrs. drs. Petra Barendregt  (operations manager)

The department consists of the following divisions: 

• Division of Animal Welfare & Laboratory Animal Science 
• Division of Behavioural Neuroscience
• Human-Animal Relationship

The department has structural coalitions with: 

• National Knowledge Center Alternatives to animal testing
• Rudolf Magnus Institute of UMCU

The department is assisted by the Secretariat and the Financial administration.
