The conference will be held at the Mitland Hotel in Utrecht. Staying here is recommended, but other hotels are available (more information can be found under ‘Accommodation’).

All day Thursday and Friday, and one Saturday morning, you are invited to visit lectures, poster presentations, WAHVM general meeting, and - for the Dutch participants - the VHG meeting.
Wednesday August 22
An informal Welcome Social will take place on Wednesday evening in the old building of the Pathology Institute, which is part of the former location of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Thursday August 23
Thursday evening you are most welcome at The Railway Museum (Spoorwegmuseum) in Utrecht for a short tour, drinks and dinner party. Transportation by coach will be provided.
Friday August 24
The Gala Dinner on Friday evening is in the stately Senate Room of the Utrecht University Hall located in the medieval centere of Utrecht. Reservations are required and coach transportation will be provided.
Social Program
The social program includes a visit to Amsterdam on Thursday and to the historical center of Utrecht on Friday.
The lectures and closing session on Saturday morning are followed by a tour of the Open Air museum (Openluchtmuseum) in Arnhem, to give you an unforgettable overview of Holland’s rich history. The programme includes transportation, guided tour and closing dinner buffet.
