Diagnostic research and treatment

The Ambulatorium is the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences’ treatment and counselling institute, focusing on conducting diagnostic research and treating clients who have psychological problems. 

Specialised psychologists and developmental experts

The Ambulatorium staff include psychologists and developmental experts affiliated with the Faculty as professors, lecturers and researchers. The staff have highly specialised expertise in diagnosis and treatment of specific psychological problems. The diagnosis and treatment offered at the institute aim in part to provide practical support for the teaching programmes. 

Centre of expertise

The Ambulatorium is also committed to being a centre of expertise where innovative methods of research and treatment are developed and tested. The aim is to build a bridge between scientific research and clinical practice. The services offered at the Ambulatorium are available for both children and adults.
