Research institutes and schools
The Faculty has a single research institute with five departmental divisions. The research institute is headed by the Dean. He participates in the Board of Research, together with the research portfolio holders of the Department Management Teams and the Director of Studies of the Graduate School. The Board of Research is jointly responsible for all research and teaching programmes of the research institute.
The research institute is responsible for:
- programming, organisation and coordination of the programmes’ research activities
- research quality assurance, described in more detail in a quality plan
- quality assurance for the agreed infrastructure facilities for research, as well as consultation on those facilities with the Faculty Director

3. Langeveld Institute for the Study of Education and Development in
Childhood and Adolescence
4. Linschoten Institute for Psychological Research

5. Department of Methodology & Statistics
Researchers of the Department of Methodology & Statistics participate in the following nationally recognised research school:
- Interuniversity Graduate School of Psychometrics and Sociometrics (IOPS)
