The Institute for Subatomic Physics (SAP) is part of the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science of Utrecht University. It conducts fundamental experimental research into the building blocks of matter and the forces acting on those building blocks. The group collaborates closely with the NIKHEF research center in Amsterdam.
