Some links concerning our courses

Bachelor

Our bachelor courses come in three levels, level 1, 2, 3, in increasing level of difficulty.
For instance, a course with code WISB314 is of level 3. (WIS stands for Wiskunde, meaning Mathematics, B stands for Bachelor, 3 for level 3, but this convention holds only for WISB courses.)
See the Course Catalog for a description of WISB314.
The schedules for Bachelor courses you find at Bachelor schedules (in Dutch).
See also the Study guide (in Dutch).

Master

See the new .schedule page. Or the page roosters on the math students site.
Our Master programme is called Mathematical Sciences.
Our Master courses come in several kinds:

Local courses.

There are just a few of these.
In the second semester of the academic year 2011/2012 these are:

  • Modern theory of Markov chains (WISS123)
  • Characteristic classes of Vector Bundles (seminar) (WISM442)
  • Topics in dynamical systems (WISS127)
  • Seminar Spatio-Temporal Patterns (WISM418)
  • Modular forms (WISM460)
  • Seminar History of Mathematics (WISM481)

National courses.

See: Mastermath and Wonder
Many of these courses  also take place in Utrecht.
