Management and organisation

The basic units of the faculty and departments are formed by professorship groups (one or more related professorships). The professorship groups guarantee the quality of research and teaching, and give direction to the research carried out by the academic staff.

The implementation of research and teaching takes place within the context of research and teaching institutes.

Staff and student representation at a departmental level takes place in the Board of the Department of Biology and in the Evaluation Advisory Committee for Biology.
