Faculty news and intranet Bèta 2015
Read more in English at the Beta 2015 intranet. Also via the orange button on the right). Every employee becomes involved in one way or another with the action points and projects within Bèta 2015. Via this intranet site the action points and projects can be found in varying extent, mostly in Dutch.
Personal news page
On the personal news page for Science employees all Science employees can place information and news that is intended for their own group, institute, department or the whole Faculty. Via news filters you can, to a large extent, determine which news you will see. For example, you can choose to only see messages for your own group/institute/department, news for a group in another department, or all the news from a certain department. Faculty news is visable for everybody. For questions, first visit the FAQ page.
Guides
If you go this site for the 1st time and you want to create a message, it is recommended to consult the user manual. A detailed university writing and editing guide for English texts (in Dutch), a list of general university terms NL-EN and a list with function names NL-EN are also available. Questions and suggestions about writing for the internal news service are always welcome.

Rules of conduct and copyright rules for placing messages on uu.nl/beta/employees
Employees of Utrecht University are deemed to behave in accordance with the Code of Conduct. This code is also applicable to placing messages on the news service. Moreover, employees (and students) of Utrecht University are also subject to rules of conduct relating to work and education on the Internet: the netiquette. The Rules for using IT tools and resources (version June 2010) from Utrecht University describes what is and is not allowed.
